Folks & Stories is a little bakery inspired by the people around us: the friends, family and everyday folks whose stories find their way into our treats.
It started as a part-time project while I was at university. When I graduated in 2018, I took the leap and made it my full-time job. These days I spend most of my time doing what I love: dreaming up the next treat, building better ways to make and share it, learning something new every day, and happily ticking things off my to-do list.
We love reinventing classic sweets, trying new ideas, and pairing a rustic, homely baking style with flavours you won't find anywhere else.
about our creations
Good ingredients, nothing artificial.
We bake only with French butter, Belgian chocolate couverture, and jams and reductions we make ourselves. Everything is made from natural ingredients, with no artificial flavouring or colouring, ever.
All about texture.
We care a lot about taste, and even more about contrast. Enjoy our soft-baked cookies fresh and warm: lightly crisp at the edges, with a centre that's tender in our cheesecake flavours and rich and fudgy in our chocolate ones.

Sweets have always been part of how we celebrate, give thanks and show someone we care. We want to carry that spirit into everything we bake.
So we do more than make delicious treats with premium ingredients. We help you make them personal, whether that's a heartfelt message on a custom label or a gift set designed around your occasion.
And if you're after something truly one of a kind, we love creating new flavours from scratch together.
